About the role
- Perform inspections as part of incoming goods inspection according to established criteria
- Monitor and coordinate the calibration of testing and measuring equipment
- Create, maintain and apply test plans, test instructions and inspection sheets
- Monitor production processes and support process optimization
- Analyze quality deviations and initiate corrective actions
- Handle complaints in collaboration with the sales department
- Prepare and conduct internal and external audits
- Maintain and further develop the quality management system in accordance with applicable standards
- Monitor product quality through staged inspections and documentation of workpieces throughout the manufacturing process
- Prepare and evaluate quality statistics and report to management
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training with relevant further training or a degree in QA/QM, or comparable qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance or quality management
- Confident user of standard MS Office applications and an ERP system
- Familiarity with relevant standards as well as measurement and testing techniques and experience with audits
- Reliability, thoroughness and assertiveness
- Team player with clear and effective communication skills
