About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and evolve Compass Corporate components related to task and process management.
Implement software enhancements, performance improvements and corrective maintenance activities.
Support the evolution of the legacy environment while extending functionality through new feature development.
Develop and integrate business functionality according to defined specifications.
Investigate production incidents and implement sustainable software corrections.
Refactor existing components and reduce technical debt through modernization activities.
Optimize application response times and resource utilization.
Implement and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
Support deployment preparation and production integration activities.
Contribute to PI planning, sprint ceremonies and technical backlog refinement.
Demonstrate delivered functionality and participate in governance and coordination activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in HTML5, Javascript/TypeScript, CSS3 and SASS.
Proficiency in Angular, including modern concepts like Signals.
Good knowledge of building complex, modular client-side applications using modern frameworks, Web Components, micro frontends and state management patterns.
Experience in Web security, authentication and authorization protocols (OpenID Connect, JWT).
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Experience with leveraging Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) like AWS CloudFront to optimize asset delivery and improve application performance.
Understanding key design principles.
Understanding API integration patterns (consuming REST APIs, error handling, caching strategies).
Experience in back-end languages (Java) and experience with frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Axon).
Experience with legacy JEE application servers and technology standards and implementations (WebLogic 14, JAXRS, JAXWS, JAXB, EJB, JMS).
Experience in designing, building, automating, and securing RESTful APIs and web services, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
Experience with API management technologies (Consul, API Gateways, CAPI Gateway)
