Key responsibilities & impact

Edit news and public affairs video for web – YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and other social platforms
Manage media storage and organization of footage and finished projects
Oversee and adhere to quality control: audio, color correction, and other relevant video specs
Manage multiple edits and ensure on time delivery
Ensure all video content is delivered to channel managers
Additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum four (4) years of relevant experience
experience working as a video editor on YouTube- and social-first news programs or journalism sites
ability to edit digital video and proficiency with Premiere/Adobe Suite required
ability to adapt videos for use on various social media platforms
proficiency with media management tools and software
technical proficiency in remote content delivery
animation skills preferred
