About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
- Write and execute automated test scripts covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios
- Establish and document software quality assurance practices, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate closely with developers to investigate, analyse, and resolve defects
- Contribute to story planning and the definition of acceptance criteria within Scrum ceremonies
- Track, analyse, and report on software quality metrics across sprints and releases
- Act as a key point of escalation for software quality issues
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance software quality and user experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation
- Strong proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, UAT, system integration, and exploratory testing
- Proven track record designing and building test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Solid knowledge of git and version control practices
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with usability and accessibility testing
- Fluent in Greek and English
