About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will play a central role as the interface between The Platform Group and its portfolio companies.
  • You will be primarily responsible for supporting and integrating portfolio companies into the corporate group and for identifying growth and optimization opportunities in online marketing, marketplaces, e-commerce, and sales.
  • You will serve as the central point of contact between our client and its portfolio companies.
  • You will coordinate communication and collaboration across the companies in the group.
  • You will be responsible for integrating new acquisitions into the corporate structure.
  • You will support existing portfolio companies with operational and strategic questions.
  • You will identify business opportunities within the corporate group and promote the use of preferential conditions.
  • You will advise the management teams of portfolio companies on growth and digitalization strategies.
  • You will analyze existing online marketing strategies and identify optimization potential.
  • You will conduct regular market and competitor analyses.
  • You will prepare regular reports on the development of the portfolio companies for senior management.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, E‑Commerce or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in portfolio/holdings management, consulting or sales, ideally with a focus on e‑commerce and online marketing
  • Solid knowledge of strategic planning and the operational implementation of marketing and sales strategies
  • Experience with company integration and digitalization, particularly in the online domain
  • Confident user of MS Office and solid knowledge of e‑commerce tools and online marketing
  • Willingness to travel to support portfolio companies on site
  • Business‑fluent German and English
