About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Correct spelling mistakes in OCR-processed news clippings to ensure error-free copy and a consistent style
- Ensure that headlines, photos, captions and other text zone types are correctly referenced and represented in the text
- Verify that news articles are complete and that no subsequent pages are missing
- Ensure that news clippings are correctly represented in PDF format
- Report any quality issues to the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- High proficiency in written English and German (minimum B2 under the CEFR standard)
- Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (GMT+8)
- Strong time-management skills; able to effectively prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Comfortable with digital platforms; able to quickly adapt to our proprietary publishing system and communicate technical issues to the team
- Must complete one assessment test before the interview and one live assessment test during the interview with a member of our team
- Please attach an informal cover letter in German describing your motivation for this role
