Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver proprietary curriculum in special classes during the week to each classroom.
Move from classroom to classroom and work alongside classroom teachers.
Serve as role models for the children and staff.
Ensure quality not just in weekly classes but throughout programs.
Act as an additional level of support to teachers, children, and families.
Work with training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques.
Collaborate with school leadership team in daily administrative tasks such as opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, and coverage in the classroom.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate.
Teaching/Childcare: 3 years (Required)
Health & Wellness Background/Knowledge (Preferred)
Fine Arts & Music Background/Knowledge (Preferred)
CPR Certification (Preferred)
