About the role

  • Research destinations across Spain
  • Design immersive walking, hiking, and cycling itineraries
  • Select accommodations and coordinate luggage and passenger transfers
  • Ensure every detail of each trip aligns with standards of authenticity, sustainability, and independent travel
  • Map and verify routes, considering terrain, difficulty levels, transport options, and key points of interest
  • Identify and collaborate with local hotels, guesthouses, and other partners
  • Calculate pricing and ensure healthy profit margins
  • Prepare detailed trip notes, maps, and travel guides
  • Gather and analyse feedback to improve itineraries
  • Collaborate with the Destination Manager and Product Team
  • Manage emergency calls and logs while clients are on the ground

Requirements

  • Passion for adventure travel and active tourism, particularly hiking and cycling
  • Proven experience in designing, managing, or operating self-guided walking or cycling holidays
  • Proficiency in route mapping tools
  • Exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Very good English proficiency (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills (email, phone, and written content)
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
  • Availability to travel when needed to verify routes, inspect accommodations, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, professional demeanour with a high level of personal integrity
