About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, edit, and manage executive presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, reports, and communications
  • Translate complex operational and financial information into concise, executive-ready summaries and recommendations
  • Track projects, actions, deadlines, commitments, dependencies, risks, and open issues
  • Coordinate updates and information flow across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Provide project-management support for strategic firm projects, including milestone tracking, status reporting, and roadmap development
  • Triage priorities and manage competing demands for the leadership team
  • Lead change-management efforts, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and adoption tracking
  • Analyze operational and financial data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain reporting tools and dashboards
  • Own agenda development, pre-read preparation, and content development for leadership meetings, annual offsite, and Town Halls
  • Capture and distribute meeting notes, ownership, and next steps
  • Standardize operating rhythms, templates, and reporting formats
  • Serve as a coordination point for leadership requests, information needs, and updates
  • Build and maintain working relationships with leaders and stakeholders at TMG and throughout Council Advisors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6–8 years of experience as a VP, Strategic Initiatives, strategy consultant, or executive projects manager in a high-performance professional services setting
  • Experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a similarly rigorous, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success collaborating directly with senior executives and driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Executive-level presentation development and data analysis experience
  • Expertise producing status reports, program updates, and executive dashboards
  • Exceptional judgment and sound decision-making ability
  • Comfort operating amid ambiguity, incomplete information, and evolving priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and resilience when handling sensitive information
  • Proven project management, tracking, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling in PowerPoint
  • Ability to translate complex or ambiguous information into clear, concise, actionable guidance
  • Ability to write and edit executive-level communications
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues into clear options, insights, and recommendations
  • Strong understanding of business operations, performance metrics, and financial concepts
  • Strong EQ, executive presence, and stakeholder credibility
