Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training
A degree in any other field from a recognized institution and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating
The equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating
Bilingual proficiency in English (US) and Spanish (US) (native Spanish preferred)
Experience in post-editing machine translation (MT) and/or localization
Strong understanding of fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence in post-edited texts
Raw MT output evaluation including error identification, post-editing effort, and turnaround time
