About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training
  • A degree in any other field from a recognized institution and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating
  • The equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating
  • Bilingual proficiency in English (US) and Spanish (US) (native Spanish preferred)
  • Experience in post-editing machine translation (MT) and/or localization
  • Strong understanding of fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence in post-edited texts
  • Raw MT output evaluation including error identification, post-editing effort, and turnaround time
