About the role
- Turn shows into sharp, bite-sized content with social-native graphics and b-roll optimized for social media and YouTube
- Collaborate with the Design Director on developing new motion graphic elements for the show
- Edit down the full length show into individual interview segments
- Design image thumbnails based on templates for each show and edited down interviews that grab the attention of our audience
- Occasional requests to create promotional elements such as guest promos
- Weekly social media “wrap” videos showing highlights from the week
- Occasional requests for segment intros/bumpers motion graphics
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience video and audio editing with a strong focus on engaging, social-first content creation
- Strong skills within video and graphic editing programs, such as After Effects, Premiere, Capcut, Inshot, Final Cut, Figma, and Photoshop
- Solid understanding of the tech industry and business news cycle
- Knowledge of what style of content gets views on YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok
- An understanding of editorial copyright rules for video content is a plus
- Calm under pressure and quick on deadlines
- Strong organizational skills; a solution-oriented attitude; enthusiasm to show initiative and take charge; extraordinary creativity
