About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the global enterprise inventory planning and control process owner.
- Manage key raw material ERP data management processes (raw material part and vendor maintenance) to ensure timely updates and data integrity.
- Oversee and audit the reorder point (ROP) management process to ensure ROPs are updated within the necessary timeframes while balancing inventory and customer service levels.
- Lead the enterprise inventory-level corrective action process cross-functionally to minimize excess inventory.
- Stay current on the latest business operation optimization tools to help ensure The Gund Company remains an industry leader in customer service and cash management processes.
- Maintain and support the development of key metrics related to inventory control and planning.
- Serve as an enterprise-level resource for strategic process improvement event facilitation.
- Maintain process documentation and provide training materials that enable others to administer processes with limited direction.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive experience in materials management, inventory planning, supply chain, purchasing, or manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
- Strong expertise in ERP systems, materials data governance, inventory control, reorder point management, and planning process execution.
- Advanced analytical capability, including strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive action.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in supply chain optimization, process improvement, and enterprise-scale problem solving.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders, collaborate across sites, and support team development.
