About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Participate in Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews and variance analysis
- Review project expenditures and cost performance trends
- Support change management and risk assessment activities
- Assist with budget transfers, change orders, amendments, and financial documentation
- Generate financial and budget reports for project stakeholders
- Collaborate with scheduling and project management teams regarding cash flow and project performance
- Support reconciliation and financial closeout activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–10 years of experience in project controls and/or cost analysis supporting construction programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- Experience supporting projects throughout the full project lifecycle
- Knowledge of cost management, forecasting, earned value management, and risk analysis
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Proliance, Deltek Costpoint, or similar systems
- Educational facility or public sector program experience preferred
