About the role
- Lead and manage multiple sustainability-focused construction projects (typically $1M–$30M)
- Oversee projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
- Ensure alignment with sustainability goals and green building initiatives
- Monitor budget, schedule, and overall project performance
- Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Review contracts, project documents, and construction progress
- Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, and construction teams
- Provide clear reporting on project status, costs, and timelines
- Support compliance with regulatory agencies such as DSA
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing multiple construction projects
- Experience working in large capital improvement programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with educational facility construction
- Familiarity with BIM, LEED, or CHPS projects
- Knowledge of full project lifecycle (planning → design → construction → closeout)
- Experience with DSA processes or similar regulatory environments
- Background in alternative delivery methods and web-based PM systems
- Certifications such as CCM, PE, or Architect license
