About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a mentor and peer resource to your student community by representing TFD professionally and in alignment with TFD’s mission and values.
Identify and participate in campus events, student organization meetings, and informational discussions related to veterinary nutrition.
Organize or assist with on-campus educational events in consultation with TFD.
Share non-confidential feedback and insights from your student community to help TFD support the next generation of veterinarians.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Second or third year veterinary student in good academic standing.
Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership and initiative through student organizations or professional roles.
A proactive, self-starter, who is capable of working independently with limited supervision.
Enthusiasm for veterinary nutrition and advancing pet health.
Ability to commit to the position for one school year, with an option to renew.
