About the role
- Define and implement the company’s long-term strategic plan and break down goals into actionable, measurable plans.
- Track execution of strategic initiatives, identify bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive intelligence to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Define, implement, and monitor KPIs to measure success against strategic goals and report on performance.
- Own and continuously update the company’s strategic roadmap and recommend reprioritization or reallocation of resources.
- Lead end-to-end M&A activities: opportunity identification, due diligence, financial modeling, negotiation, and post-merger integration.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships to support business growth and innovation.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and strategic updates for board meetings and investor communications; serve as liaison with external stakeholders.
- Represent the company in strategic discussions with stakeholders in Germany and drive the Technology Ecosystem Collaboration (TEC) agenda.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (MBA or similar advanced degree preferred).
- 7–10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a similar strategic role.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, M&A execution, and cross-functional leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to distill complexity into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including board and investor interactions.
- Familiarity with the German business landscape; fluency in German is a strong plus.
- Eligibility to work in the EU (application asks about EU work eligibility); willingness to relocate is supported.
