About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with NCP President, the Relationship Management Team, regional Conference leadership, as well as CEOs and CFOs of affiliated Covenant entities on financial matters relating to real estate transactions and NCP financing.
- Participate in the development of the organization’s strategic plans and implementation of resulting initiatives and other assignment from the President of NCP.
- Collaborate with the President of NCP to align lending activities with the organization’s broader strategic goals.
- Serve as an advisor to the Board of Directors of NCP.
- Coach, lead, motivate, and mentor the relationship management team.
- Actively participate in strategic relationship management with existing and prospective constituents.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on approvals, strategy development and implementation that improves or enhances NCP’s mission.
- Engage in marketing and communication efforts that increase awareness and engagement of church constituency with NCP investment opportunities.
- Provide guidance to congregations and individuals on the developments and preparation of NCP loan application packets.
- Monitor and advise on real estate trends and market analysis within the 11 regions NCP provides its services.
- Deliver consultation to churches and their leadership on facility design, location searches and property developments including the review of leases, purchase or sale agreements or other real estate contracts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least ten (10) years of related banking and financial services experience, including management of financial staff, extensive working knowledge of and/or involvement in banking, the commercial real estate lending field, financial analysis, and general management of financial investments.
- High proficiency in computer and internet technology.
- Expert knowledge and experience with standard and not-for-profit accounting principles along with a high level of customer service emphasis.
- Must hold a minimum of a Series 63 Securities License (or received within the first 90 days of employment).
