Process Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

- Analyze, develop, and improve manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and cost performance.
- Report to the Manufacturing Operations Manager and coordinate activities supporting all phases of process improvement.
- Create detailed work instructions and visual aids to maintain production standards.
- Propose, sponsor, and lead projects to improve manufacturing performance.
- Assist in designing testing methods and value stream mapping exercises.
- Work with safety and engineering groups to meet plant safety requirements.
- Train supervisors and team leaders in required tasks.
- Support continuous improvement and shop cleanliness utilizing 5S.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS Degree in Engineering preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Self-starter who is able to meet expectations with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills – able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks/projects
- Detail oriented and strong communication skills
- Highly motivated, results oriented, customer focused, with a high commitment level
- Excellent listening, interpretation and reasoning skills required
- Must have demonstrated experience with Continuous Improvement Tools
- Work schedule can exceed 40 hours when required.
