About the role
- Design and develop product solutions using SolidWorks, AutoCAD , and similar tools
- Create/modify 3D models, detailed drawings, and sheet metal designs
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure design accuracy
- Perform product analysis and ensure alignment with engineering standards and safety requirements
- Collaborate across production, design, sales, management, and engineering throughout design and production phases
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously; maintain schedules using MS Project or similar tools
- Lead and mentor assigned engineering team members when needed
- Review and professionally seal engineering documents as required
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of hands-on engineering design experience (manufacturing-focused)
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering from an accredited university
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (3D modeling and sheet metal preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing design environments (not seeking Construction/Civil backgrounds)
- Strong project/time management, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines
- Safety-first mindset and results-oriented approach
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), MS Teams, MS Project (or similar), Access
