About the role
- Engage with senior-level government, industry, and commercial partners as well as the Board of Trustees
- Provide strategic leadership across multiple mission portfolios; facilitate enterprise alignment, collaboration and integration across programs and technical domains to deliver enterprise solutions
- Own and execute a workforce plan that delivers and anticipates mission needs
- Lead a high-performing technical workforce and leadership team
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities, make key technical decisions to include financial investments
Requirements
- Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance
- Technical degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related discipline
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience with established senior-level relationships in commercial space, aerospace, defense, national security, or government
- Proven leader at building, developing, leading high-performing technical leaders and organizations
- Experience in strategic planning and execution with proven results
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Exceptional communication and executive presence
- Savvy to the external landscape with demonstrated ability to translate and shape internal strategies and initiatives
- Demonstrated success at leading transformational organizational change
