About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with the government and prime and sub-contractors to oversee critical assembly, integration, and test activities
Perform ad hoc systems engineering on classified systems
Provide Aerospace technical expertise to SSC/AATS FILL IN THE BLANK ORG
Rapidly respond to government-requested support for test monitoring, reporting, or onsite meeting attendance
Provide in-factory oversight of critical space vehicle assembly, integration, and test activities
Prepare technical reports and recommendations for the government program office

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree from an accredited program in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
25 or more years of progressively responsible experience in Space Vehicle R&D, Do No Harm, systems analysis, and space vehicle systems engineering
Comfortable working with, and reporting directly to, executive management and key stakeholders
Availability to travel domestically
Demonstrated superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US government
U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
Advanced technical degree (impressive if you had one or more of these)
Previously worked with Aerospace with a deep understanding of how to navigate and coordinate the Engineering Technology Group technical expert reach back capability (impressive if you had one or more of these)
Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining executive level strategic partnerships (impressive if you had one or more of these)
Demonstrated ability to identify, plan, and execute solutions to multi-objective problems (impressive if you had one or more of these)
