About the role

  • Provide administrative and client service support to the Personal Lines team by assisting with insurance account servicing and policy administration.
  • Report to the Service Manager and work closely with the Personal Lines Service Team and Account Managers.
  • Assist with policy servicing, processing policy changes, supporting claims inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation of client accounts while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date policy documentation, client records, and system information in accordance with agency and carrier guidelines.
  • Respond to client communications via phone, email, or in-person to provide policy information or resolve service-related questions.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.

Requirements

  • An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in the insurance industry may be considered in place of formal education.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an independent insurance agency or 3 years of experience in a captive insurance agency environment is preferred.
  • Experience servicing personal lines insurance policies such as homeowners, auto, or umbrella coverage.
  • An active and valid Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
  • Basic knowledge of personal lines insurance products and agency servicing procedures is preferred.
