About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Employ state-of-the-art blockchain analytics tools to analyze virtual currency transactions.
- Act as a primary point of contact for law enforcement agencies.
- Provide detailed, understandable reports and insights on blockchain activities to assist in criminal investigations.
- Efficiently respond to and action incoming requests from law enforcement.
- Enhancing law enforcement's understanding of patterns and indicators of illicit activity on the blockchain.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology, virtual currency trends, and regulatory changes.
- Work closely with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Criminal, Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with blockchain analytics, preferably Chainalysis, TRM Labs or Elliptic.
- Deep and proven understanding of cryptocurrency transaction patterns and potential indicators of criminal activity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms for law enforcement personnel.
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
