About the role

  • Lead the full lifecycle of investment transactions from term sheet through close, coordinating legal, financial, and strategic workstreams with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Structure and negotiate deal terms ensuring alignment with RISE fund's risk appetite and return thresholds.
  • Design and drive the end-to-end due diligence process across commercial, financial, legal, and regulatory dimensions.
  • Synthesize diligence findings into investment-grade analysis, stress-testing key assumptions, identifying material risks, and articulating mitigation strategies.
  • Author and own Investment Committee memoranda, present investment recommendations directly to senior leadership, and maintain rigorous documentation standards across all Venture IC materials.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned portfolio companies post-close, support Reporting Team with monitoring of financial and operational KPIs, and lead or contribute to follow-on investment assessments.
  • Drive the build-out and continuous improvement of Tether RISE fund’s Investment operating infrastructure, coordinate with the Expansion Team to improve Tether RISE fund’s strategy, and represent Tether RISE fund’s function in internal forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • 5-10 years of directly relevant experience across venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development.
  • Experience in end-to-end investment transactions( from sourcing to closing)
  • Advanced financial modelling; strong command of Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of cap table management tools (e.g. Carta), CRM/deal flow platforms (e.g. Affinity, Salesforce), and data room management.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
  • Strong understanding of venture and growth-stage investment dynamics.
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector including regulatory frameworks, fintech ecosystems, and institutional investment constraints.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required. Any other language is a plus.
  • CFA charterholder or CAIA designation required (or demonstrable progression toward completion).
