About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide engineering and consulting services for transportation projects and clients.
- Perform and/or lead field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations.
- Design and development of plans and specifications.
- Observe and inspect construction.
- Write, prepare, and review related reports.
- Review drawings and construction compliance.
- Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Track and evaluate project progress and budgets.
- Research and resolve design and construction problems.
- Assign, review, and evaluate lab or field data.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- You must have a minimum of 8-11 years of experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- Transportation experience with DOTs is required.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- 10+ Years of experience preferred
