About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide senior-level engineering, technical leadership, and project management services in support of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Waste Cleanup Program.
  • Lead and oversee environmental site investigations, contamination assessments, remedial design, and implementation activities.
  • Evaluate environmental data, perform advanced engineering analyses and risk assessments.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams responsible for soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor investigations.
  • Present remediation strategies and technical findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree.
  • Minimum 8-11 years’ experience.
  • Florida Professional Engineer License
  • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
  • Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status (within 2 years of hire).
