About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide senior-level engineering, technical leadership, and project management services in support of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Waste Cleanup Program.
Lead and oversee environmental site investigations, contamination assessments, remedial design, and implementation activities.
Evaluate environmental data, perform advanced engineering analyses and risk assessments.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams responsible for soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor investigations.
Present remediation strategies and technical findings to stakeholders.
Mentor and develop junior engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree.
Minimum 8-11 years’ experience.
Florida Professional Engineer License
A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status (within 2 years of hire).
