About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead membership of product development teams with engineering by defining use cases and requirements and performing post-implementation validation
Participate in key design-ins as a technical consultant to ensure technical success
Guide field applications teams and direct customers in developing successful test solutions
Develop and deliver technical marketing presentations
Co-develop user documentation and training for new products and features
Build deep expert knowledge of Teradyne products and use models
Develop knowledge of semiconductor test requirements and trends
Build relationships with worldwide account teams and key customers
Develop expertise in Automated Test Equipment, especially the UltraFLEX family, Digital, Serial, DC, and Software products
Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to design and develop software plugins and applications
Support customers on tester operation and capability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
5+ years of experience in the semiconductor field
Proficiency with C# and .NET, C++ development, and unit testing
Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and JIRA
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and Windows and Linux operating systems
Object-oriented design skills and experience designing reusable libraries/APIs
Comprehension of electrical engineering fundamentals
Ability to work effectively independently and within a team, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to develop and deliver clear presentations on complex topics
Ability to work under high pressure with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Basic knowledge of semiconductor device design, manufacturing, and/or testing is a plus
