About the role

  • Support customer engagements, from booking to delivery, demonstrating operational excellence resulting in delighted customers.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor and control project costs & schedules to ensure projects are delivered per budgetary constraints and on-time.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, are free from errors, and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Sales to review & revise contract terms and support customer negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, energy, or related field.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or PMI-ACP certification(s).
  • 7+ years’ experience working as a project or operations manager in the solar or renewable energy industry, heavy construction, or aerospace industry.
  • Excellent time management and ability to execute multiple projects across multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, customer relationship skills, and ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment.
  • Advanced or expert skill level in MS Suite of software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience working with project management tools and platforms such Cora, Wrike, Katana, Project Insight, Primavera P6, JIRA and other Atlassian tools such as Confluence.
  • Experience leading a small team and working with remotely distributed contractors.
  • Willing to work in Hybrid (Home/Office) setup and work with minimal supervision.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time, primarily US-based project sites
