Be the technical lead for a team in identifying customer requirements, analyzing, and evaluating multiple solutions, developing functional and physical architecture, verifying, and validating high-complexity systems.
Lead and/or self-perform the execution of engineering activities.
Work with Engineering Manager and Project Managers to manage internal and external capacity to meet project milestones.
Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
Manage and control the generation, issuance, resolution, and close-out of requests for information, technical inquiry forms, and transmittals/submittals.
Participate in preparing proposals and scope development, including conceptual designs and execution plans, engineering/project cost estimates, and schedules.
Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments within the local office.
Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members.
Provide short-term field support during construction.
Any other actions required by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical degree.
Three years minimum of engineering experience performing development of solar projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Project management experience is a plus
