About the role

  • Own and oversee day-to-day finance operations across NZ and Australia, including transactional review, reconciliations, month-end close, and intercompany reporting.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements, consolidations, and performance reporting for Tenzing Directors and Tech Mahindra’s offshore finance teams.
  • Manage large, complex data sets and ensure all SAP-driven group reporting requirements are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Provide high-quality financial analysis, commentary, and insights to support leadership decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Tech Mahindra finance teams to align reporting processes, structures, and submission timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve finance-related issues across systems, data, and reporting.
  • Support and embed ongoing integration activities, ensuring alignment with SAP templates, group timelines, and compliance frameworks.
  • Identify, design, and implement opportunities to streamline finance processes — both manual (Excel-based workflows, reconciliations) and system-driven.
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of annual statutory financial statements.
  • Oversee local and international tax compliance requirements, supported by Grant Thornton.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and governance across all finance activities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in month-end reporting, gross margin analysis, and group consolidations
  • Proven involvement in system integrations or significant finance process improvements
  • Advanced Excel capability, including working with large datasets and manual data preparation
  • Experience with SAP (highly advantageous) or comparable ERP systems
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 10+ years’ experience in accounting and/or finance leadership roles
