About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
- Conduct facility inspections and address maintenance requirements
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Support grounds repair and maintenance, including landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal
- Maintain computer-based records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Comply with safety regulations and report hazards
- Assist with preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize downtime
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
