About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance requirements and address them promptly.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Support the maintenance team in repairing and maintaining the grounds, including landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a safe and clean working environment for employees and visitors.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, reporting any safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in performing preventative maintenance activities to prolong the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
