About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify any maintenance requirements and address them promptly
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Support the maintenance team in repairing and maintaining the grounds, including landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a safe and clean working environment for employees and visitors
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, reporting any safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance activities to prolong the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a maintenance or similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
