About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents
Work as part of the nursing team to assess resident needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions
Follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policy and procedures
Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action, as needed
Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action
Assume responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the assigned unit
Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatment per physicians orders and accurately record all care provided
Promptly report changes in residents conditions to the physician, Director of Nursing, responsible party, and take follow-up action as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

Nursing Diploma (ASN or BSN)
TN Registered Nursing license in good standing
Geriatric long term care experience preferred
Current CPR certification
