About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement new welding processes and equipment
- Ensure technical compliance and quality standards based on applicable regulations
- Act as the interface between departments to optimize manufacturing flow
- Lead continuous improvement projects and drive reductions in operational costs
- Prepare quotations for new products and implement projects on the manufacturing floor
- Execute improvement actions using tools such as PFMEA and PDCA.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Control & Automation or Electronics)
- Specific welding courses; N1 or N2 inspection certifications
- Intermediate to advanced English, with the ability to read technical documentation and communicate verbally
- Required: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Industrial Welding Process Engineering, with technical expertise in joining processes and in the development of new welding equipment and fixtures
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Industrial Painting processes (KTL, powder, or liquid)
- Experience with industrial assembly lines and integration of production cells
- Knowledge of ABB robotic applications
