About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Study and understand application environment for all HOT gaskets, Cold Gaskets and Heat shields
  • Study / prepare part drawings considering engine /package boundary conditions
  • Work out design proposals, review with the global team and submit to customer
  • Co-ordinate for manufacturing feasibility DVP finalization with customers
  • Co-ordinate with the customers – sales team- internal departments like purchase, production, quality, maintenance
  • Return Part analysis
  • Visiting customers as per calendar to generate new business opportunities
  • Visiting customers to attend functional quality issues
  • Benchmarking of competitor parts
  • Participate in White Space analysis with team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge & capability to handle IATF systems/documentation responsibility for Engineering dept.
  • Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes.
  • Team coordination & management
