About the role
- Study and understand application environment for all HOT gaskets, Cold Gaskets and Heat shields
- Study / prepare part drawings considering engine /package boundary conditions
- Work out design proposals, review with the global team and submit to customer
- Co-ordinate for manufacturing feasibility DVP finalization with customers
- Co-ordinate with the customers – sales team- internal departments like purchase, production, quality, maintenance
- Return Part analysis
- Visiting customers as per calendar to generate new business opportunities
- Visiting customers to attend functional quality issues
- Benchmarking of competitor parts
- Participate in White Space analysis with team
Requirements
- Knowledge & capability to handle IATF systems/documentation responsibility for Engineering dept.
- Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes.
- Team coordination & management
