About the role

  • Support for brake-related tests within the "Advanced Test Engineering" team
  • Conducting and supervising tests to determine friction behavior and particulate emissions
  • Preparation and post-processing of samples in a laboratory environment
  • Documentation and analysis of test results using Excel, Matlab or Python
  • Creation, maintenance and analysis of test databases
  • Summarizing results in overview reports and presenting findings in presentations
  • Participation in meetings and presentation of findings to internal and external customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s student in a natural science or engineering discipline
  • Very good technical knowledge
  • Basic chemical knowledge is an advantage
  • Very good IT skills (Office, Matlab, Python, etc.)
  • Basic CAE knowledge desirable (e.g., ANSYS, ABAQUS)
  • Very good German language skills; strong English skills are an advantage
  • Analytical thinking, good communication skills, independent working style
  • Precise, structured and careful way of working
  • Commitment, team spirit and social skills
