About the role
- Design intuitive, visually appealing, user-centered experiences that support the product vision and improve usability within the platform.
- Collaborate with software engineering team and other engaged stakeholders to turn ideas and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Create polished mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma and similar design tools.
- Refine and improve designs based upon feedback collected through user feedback and usability testing.
- Maintain and contribute to design systems, ensuring consistent brand and product experiences.
- Work as part of the Product team to ensure designs balance user experience with product strategy and technical constraints.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- 3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in product- driven environment
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design modern tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
- Strong portfolio showcasing design work with an emphasis on usability, interaction, and visual design
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and user research methods
- Familiarity or knowledge of other design technologies, such as Storybook and/or Locofy
- Communication and collaboration skills, ability to present and explain design concepts to variety of audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in visual, graphic, or interactive design, or related degree.
