About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide virtual individual and group counseling, education, and behavioral modification strategies to address substance use, mental health issues, and criminogenic behaviors.
Conduct comprehensive assessment and develop individualized treatment plans with goals, objectives, and interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including Initial Service Plans, Comprehensive Assessments, Individual Treatment Plans, Progress Notes, and Continuing Care Plans.
Facilitate psycho-educational and therapeutic groups as part of the recovery process.
Deliver an average of 28 hours per week of direct client services, combining individual and group sessions.
Collaborate with referral sources, probation officers, and social service agencies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum age: 18 years.
Must hold a current LADC or ADC-T license in the state of Minnesota.
Must be a resident of Minnesota.
Completion of 12 hours of training in co-occurring mental health disorders (within 6 months of hire if not already completed).
Ability to use platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
Ability to use EHR (Ritten) and other electronic tools for documentation.
Adherence to MN Statutes 604.20 and 604.205 regarding sexual exploitation.
Successful completion of the MN Department of Human Services background study.
1–2 years of experience working with clients struggling with substance use (preferred).
2–3 years of experience providing Outpatient or Intensive Outpatient treatment (preferred).
