About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
- Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to clients in a home setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered Behavior Technician Certification or Behavior Technician strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping improve the lives of clients
- High school diploma or equivalent
