About the role
- Purpose of the role: A specialist in wave and frequency management, the Radio Frequency Engineer is primarily responsible for radio parameter specifications and performs the various radio tunings of equipment.
- Participate in defining the hardware architectures of radio modules and drafting module specification and verification documents.
- Perform technical feasibility analysis, ensuring that technical requirements are met while taking constraints into account.
- Carry out hardware development work by designing amplification, filtering and RF conversion functions.
- Establish and ensure the coexistence of RF modules and onboard antennas within subsystems.
- Monitor technical developments in the field and the evolution of measurement equipment.
- Participate in RF measurement campaigns at the sites hosting the solutions.
- Perform measurements and organize verification and validation tests.
- Responsible for important, appropriate and upgradable hardware and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience and skills in information technologies, networks and wireless technologies (industry experience).
- Experience, knowledge and skills in electronic systems and radio frequency.
- Ability to use appropriate tools and report on performance.
- Proficiency in technical English.
- Organized, autonomous and proactive.
- Strong communication skills.
- Adaptability and responsiveness.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Engineering methods: definition, design, functional and hardware architecture, performance analysis and prediction.
- Knowledge of telecommunications system architectures (modulation, demodulation, transmit and receive chains, antennas, etc.).
- Good knowledge of RF and microwave measurement techniques.
- Practical experience with RF/microwave CAD tools such as ADS (Keysight), Microwave Office (AWR) and ANSYS HFSS, including circuit simulation and electromagnetic simulation techniques.
- Engineering degree or PhD in electronics with a specialization in radio frequency.
- Significant experience in RF systems, particularly with filters and antennas.
- Desired experience: 1 to 3 years in a similar position.
