About the role
- Install, configure, and support network environments using technologies such as Extreme Networks, Cisco, and Fortinet
- Install, configure, and provide ongoing support for firewalls, including FortiGate and Cisco
- Design, implement, and administer customer network environments
- Provide 2nd-level IT support for local field services
- Monitor and administer local network environments
- Efficiently manage, document, and resolve incidents using the Jira ticketing system
- Continuously assess network performance and implement upgrades or optimization strategies
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
- Collaborate with an international IT team, contributing to cross-border projects
- Participate in on-call/standby duties
Requirements
- Certifications for network equipment such as Cisco CCNA, Fortinet, or Extreme Certified Associate
- More than 5 years of experience as a network engineer
- More than 3 years of experience working in an international team as a network engineer
- Good knowledge of centrally managed network systems and environments
- Technical documentation skills
- Fluent in French and proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Ability to travel internationally (10% - 20%)
