About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to inbound and/or outbound customer inquiries via phone and other communication channels
- Resolve customer concerns related to services, billing, claims, and account information
- Research issues, identify appropriate solutions, and provide accurate follow-up as needed
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and actions taken
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Meet established productivity, service, and performance metrics
- Support a high-volume contact center during a critical enrollment period
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-2 years of customer service, call center, or related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, data entry systems, and other computer applications
- Ability to accurately document customer interactions and maintain confidentiality
- Previous call center, healthcare customer service, or contact center experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills preferred
- Ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining a positive customer experience preferred
- Camera participation required during training
- Availability to work within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days per week
- Rotating evening and weekend schedules may be required
