About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct insurance investigations and verify coverage information
- Review and process patient assistance applications and supporting documentation
- Assess patient financial information and determine eligibility
- Communicate application status and outcomes to patients and healthcare providers
- Deliver high-quality customer service while handling complex patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of insurance verification experience (required)
- 5+ years of call center/customer support experience (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of insurance benefits and eligibility verification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism in challenging situations
- Experience handling sensitive patient information in a HIPAA-compliant environment
- Availability for assigned shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM CST
- Training availability from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST for approximately 6–10 weeks
- No planned time off during the training period
