About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle inbound calls to assess eligibility, explain plan options, provide quotes, and complete enrollments
- Conduct outbound calls during downtime
- Follow CMS, AHIP, and internal compliance guidelines
- Transfer misrouted calls
- Guide ineligible callers to appropriate resources
- Provide customer service and help prospective and current members find plans that meet their needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Health Insurance License
- Virginia license required
- AHIP certification, or eligibility to obtain it
- Health insurance sales experience
- Medicare/D-SNP knowledge or experience
- Availability for Mon–Fri shifts during Aug–Sept, 8am–6pm EST
- Availability for rotating Mon–Sun shifts during Oct–Mar, 8am–8pm EST
- Ability to work 2 weekends per month during Oct–Mar
