About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a large-scale End-of-Support (EOS) network refresh initiative
  • Migrate customer services from legacy network equipment to newer platforms, primarily in a Juniper-based environment
  • Analyze existing router configurations
  • Develop migration plans
  • Create implementation documentation
  • Execute network migrations during scheduled maintenance windows
  • Coordinate with multiple internal teams and field resources
  • Manage several migration projects simultaneously
  • Work independently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience migrating Juniper MX, QFX, and ACX platforms
  • Multi-vendor networking experience, including Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper
  • Experience supporting large-scale network refresh or modernization projects
  • Familiarity with network inventory and provisioning systems; Granite experience is a plus
  • Experience working with network operations, implementation, or provisioning teams
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities within complex routed environments
  • EOL/EOS replacement project experience
  • Intermediate-level experience
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Project management experience (nice to have)
  • Previous experience with Spectrum/Charter, Verizon, or other large service providers (nice to have)
  • Former internal implementation and operations (INO) experience (nice to have)
  • Network staging and deployment coordination experience (nice to have)
  • Cisco ASR/7600/9K experience (nice to have)
  • Nokia 7210/7750 experience (nice to have)
