About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to a high volume of inbound member calls professionally and efficiently
  • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and service requests
  • Support checking and savings accounts, credit cards, consumer loans, IRAs, and other financial products
  • Research and resolve member concerns accurately and compliantly
  • Educate members on available products, services, and self-service tools
  • Review account activity and identify solutions based on member needs
  • Document interactions thoroughly and accurately in company systems
  • Navigate multiple applications while managing active conversations
  • Meet performance expectations for quality, productivity, attendance, schedule adherence, and member satisfaction
  • Handle back-to-back inbound calls in a structured 24/7/365 contact center
  • Work assigned breaks and meal periods and support required schedule coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated remote workspace
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Customer-first mindset and passion for helping others
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult conversations
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort working in a structured, metric-driven environment
  • Availability within an 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM operating window
  • Ability to work one weekend day every week
  • Six-day availability, with one fixed day off and a second day off varying by business needs
  • Availability within a 9.5-hour scheduling window
  • Ability to handle calls for up to four consecutive hours before a scheduled break
  • Must reside within 60 miles of Virginia Beach, VA
