About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implementation, and support of the network for Tegria’s Cloud Hosting business
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and operation of LAN/MAN/WAN and data networks
- Participate in network design discussions
- Install and maintain data center and WAN network infrastructure
- Coordinate and execute maintenance of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate network issues
- Create and audit network-level security protocols within corporate security design standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- CCNP or equivalent demonstrated experience
- CCIE or equivalent demonstrated experience (preferred)
- 4+ years of hands-on professional IT network engineering experience
- Advanced experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools (e.g., Solarwinds, syslog, Wireshark, etc.)
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining L2 and L3 networks at an intermediate level
- Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.) at an intermediate level
- Firewall policy design and administration at an intermediate level
- Site-to-site VPN configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge with EVPN/VXLAN and spine/leaf architecture (preferred)
