About the role

  • Provide support services for logistics operations and manage/follow up customs procedures
  • Manage and follow up import/export processes, coordinating stakeholders (exporter, customs broker, logistics, importer);
  • Gather data for import/export processes (e.g., volumes, weights, costs, insurance, transportation, storage, etc.);
  • Process and follow up domestic procurement and import orders;
  • Process and follow up domestic sales and export orders;
  • Prepare various reports related to the area of responsibility;
  • Conduct data collection and calculations;
  • Translate technical documents, letters, reports, etc.;
  • Other activities related to the handling of import/export processes and support for oversight of processes and contracts;
  • Monitor deadlines and manage supporting documentation for customs clearance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade (International Trade) or Business Administration with emphasis in Foreign Trade; or postgraduate specialization in Foreign Trade; or a university degree in another field combined with at least 3 years of proven experience in foreign trade activities.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in foreign trade activities, supporting contract oversight and/or follow-up with suppliers.
  • Proficiency with the following tools: SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
