About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Turn briefs, sketches and half-formed client ideas into 3D designs that tell a story and hit a commercial goal
Get under the skin of clients’ brands, audiences and market positions so concepts meet their objectives
Join the sales team on client meetings to shape briefs at source
Present concepts, mood boards, floor plans and renders, and articulate why the design works
Build accurate cost and sale estimates with the sales team
Pull in expertise from across the business where needed
Monitor materials, technology and competitors’ work on the show floor
Design stands and activations for brands including Amazon, HP, Technogym, Simba Sleep and Butternut Box
Report to the Head of Creative and work within the growing creative team

Requirements

What you’ll need

A few years of 3D design experience
Experience with 3D design software; Tecna works in SketchUp and V-Ray
Ability to quickly learn SketchUp and V-Ray if coming from another software background
Strong portfolio of events and design demonstrating visualisation ability
Understanding of how design intent translates to build capability, health and safety, and site constraints
Strong attention to detail
Commercial awareness and ability to work within client budgets
